介绍了Intel最新推出的MMX＾TM技术及其在图象边沿和边沿交点提取快速算法实现中的应用。边沿提取的速度可达30帧／秒。

Real-time Extraction of Edge and Edge Erossing by Using the MMXTM Technology

Abstract

In this paper the MMXTM technology recently developed by Intel is briefly introduced and an algorithm of edge extraction and crossing point extraction by using the MMXTM technology is presented. By taking advantage of technology supported by MMXTM the speed of edge extraction can be performed at the rate of 30 frames/s.
