一种手写体汉字特征提取新方法—小波变换及弹性网络技术的应用
摘 要
利用小波分析方法将汉字图象分解为横、撇、竖、捺4个方向的分量，然后结合弹性网络技术，提出了进行了手写体汉字特征提取的一种新方法，实验结果显示此方法是行之有效的。

() Abstract
In this paper, we propose a new feature extraction method for handwritten Chinese character recognition. A Chinese character image is decomposed into four directional sub-images based on the analysis of its wavelet transform. With elastic meshing technique, features are extracted from the four sub-images respectively. Experimental results show that the proposed approach is very effective.
