一种基于蒙特卡罗方法的小目标视觉跟踪算法

摘 要
CAMSHIFT是一种利用颜色直方图反向投影的视觉跟踪算法,通常用于人脸跟踪等领域。但在目标较小的情况下,由于信息量有限,往往不能获得稳定的跟踪结果。为了提高跟踪结果的稳定性,提出了一种基于蒙特卡罗方法的改进算法。该算法通过产生高斯随机样本的方法补充样本,不仅增强了目标颜色特征分布的鲁棒性,而且提高了跟踪的稳定性。结果表明该算法是有效的。

Abstract
CAMSHIFT is a color based tracking algorithm. However, it is always unstable in the case of small objects because of their limited color information. In this paper, an improved algorithm based on Monte Carlo Method is proposed, which enhances the robustness of color feature and the tracking stability by producing reasonable Gaussian random samples. Finally, experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of our method.
